PLAINS TWP. —Township police intend to cite the mother and sister of Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis after an incident at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs casino on Friday, police said.
Police were summoned to the Bar Louie area of the casino at 6:26 p.m. Friday for a report of several women causing a disturbance. Police spoke with the bar manager, who said three women were arguing with him about a contract for a party.
The manager said one of the women spit at him and slapped him twice on his face, bending his eyeglasses, and that all three women were using foul language and causing a general disturbance, disrupting other patrons, police said.
It was also reported that all three of the women were shoving and slapping each other. Police said all three women were advised to leave the property.
Jennifer Dompkosky, of Wyoming, will be cited with disorderly conduct. She stated her sister is the district attorney, police said.
