Pat and Mike Korb will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 13, 2016.
The Korbs were wed in Saint Stephen’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Euclid, Ohio.
Pat is the daughter of the late Rose and George Trubisky and Mike is the son of Maxine and the late Richard Korb. Maxine lives in Chicora, Pennsylvania.
They have a son, Matthew, who lives with his wife Jessie in Los Angeles, California and works as an editor for television. Their daughter, Kathleen, lives in York, Pennsylvania with her husband, Ashley and works as a dispatcher trainer for the PA State Police. The Korbs have two step-grandsons, Jordan and Jake.
Mr. Korb, a mining engineer, retired from DEP in May, 2016 and Pat is the retired executive director of Leadership Hazleton. Both are active community volunteers.
They have lived in Perry, Ohio; Rolla, Missouri; Hibbing, Maine; Bethlehem and Ebensburg, Pennsylvania; Venezuela, South America; Hazleton, Oroville and Oakley, California and currently have a home in Hobbie.
The Korbs will celebrate their 50th Anniversary in Niagara Falls, their honeymoon location, with their family.
