Frank P. Martin and Irene (Hanratty) Martin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017. The couple was married at St. Anthony’s Church, Bronx, New York.

Mr. Martin is a retired sergeant from the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department and from his second career as the Luzerne County DUI coordinator at Catholic Social Services. Before her retirement in 2012, Mrs. Martin had been employed for 34 years as an executive assistant at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Architecture, Planning, Interior Design.

The Martins have two daughters: Maureen and her husband, Dr. Joseph Radzwilka; and Erin and her husband, Robert Kosek. They have four grandchildren: Sara Radzwilka, a graduate student at the University of the Sciences; Sean Radzwilka, a student at Kutztown University; and Maura and Ryan Kosek, both students at Pittston Area.

The special occasion was celebrated at a Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Plains, followed by a dinner party at the Mary Stegmaier Mansion.
