Heritage Society to conduct Slovak hymn-sing

The Slovak Heritage Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania will conduct a Lenten hymn-sing and traditional Stations of the Cross in Slovak at 3 p.m. March 3 at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, Kingston. The narration, prayers and hymns will be led by members of the Society board of directors with benediction by John A. Albosta. A fellowship will follow in Conlan Hall. Board member Magdalen Benish, left, is shown with international students Peter Kmec, King’s College, center, and Denisa Chanathova, Wyoming Seminary, both of Slovakia, who will be participating in the hymn-sing and stations.
