PITTSTON TWP. – Work on the Springbrook stream stabilization project is expected to take place in 2011, supervisors told residents Monday.
The work had been requested from the state for years and has been a persistent issue for Glendale area residents who are losing property to stream bank erosion. Residents at the meeting were unsure about the status of the easements required from the property owners, as several noted no one had been in touch with them to get legal access rights.
