SHICKSHINNY - A Shickshinny man accused of killing his girlfriend with a hatchet will stand trial in Luzerne County Court, a district magistrate judge has ruled.

John Stone, 58, of North Canal Street, was charged is charged with killing Catherine Tabit, 37, of Kingston, inside his home on Oct. 24.
District Judge John Hasay ruled there was sufficient evidence to forward the case to county court following a preliminary hearing held this morning.
