Kaylee Ziolkowski and Tony Ray Colemire, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lorrie Ziolkowski, Nanticoke. She is the granddaughter of Kathleen Ziolkowski, Nanticoke, and the late Henry Ziolkowski.
She is a 2004 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications from King's College in 2008 and her associate's degree in nursing from Luzerne County Community College in 2012. She works as a critical care registered nurse at Williamsport Regional Medical Center in Williamsport.
The prospective groom is the son of Lori Colemire, Nanticoke. He is the grandson of the late Janice and Paul Berndt.
He is a 2005 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Philippine Sea stationed out of Mayport, Fla., from 2005-2009. He served two deployments in the Persian Gulf during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned an associate's degree in letters of arts and sciences from Penn State University Wilkes-Barre in 2012 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nutrition at Penn State University, University Park. He will graduate in 2013.
The couple will be united in marriage Sept. 21, 2013, in a ceremony at Carmen's Country Inn in Drums with a reception to follow.
