Nicole Marie Martin and Charles Herbert Hampton Jr. were united in the sacrament of marriage on Sept. 28, 2012, at All Saint's Parish Church, Plymouth, Pa. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Bob Kelleher.


The bride is the daughter of James and Loretta Martin, Larksville.


The groom is the son of Anna Marie and Charles Hampton Sr., Kingston.


The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her sisters, Angela Vnuk and Melissa Lawless, as her matrons of honor. She also chose her long-time friend, Leah Steele, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Tanona; Lisa Owens; Renee Urban; Melanie Hampton, sister of the groom; and Jennifer Metcalfe.


The groom chose his brother, Matthew Hampton, as his best man. Groomsmen were Keith Hampton, brother of the groom; Glenn Lawless, brother-in-law of the bride; William Harrison; Dave Evans; Brendan Boyle; Tom Makalusky; and Jason Homza.


Scriptural readings were given by Stanley Cooper, Nettie Oakchunas and Sandy Williams, all close friends and family of the bride and groom. Musical selections were performed by Scott Coates and Karen Alunni, both friends of the bride.


The bride was honored by her bridesmaids, family and friends with a bridal shower at the Irem Country Club, Dallas, hosted by her mother and bridesmaids. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Bentley's Restaurant, Ashley. The parents of the bride hosted an evening cocktail hour and reception at the Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estates, Dallas.


The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and a 2009 graduate of Misericordia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse in the Recovery Room at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.


The groom is a 2001 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and a 2005 graduate of Wilkes University with a Bachelor of the Arts in psychology. He is employed by Dynamic Educational Systems Inc. as an outreach and admission counselor for the United States Department of Labor's Job Corps Program.


The couple honeymooned at Sandals, Antigua. They reside in Nanticoke with their two loving dogs, Macaroni and Hunter.
