WILKES-BARRE - State police shut down a section of North Street between North Main and River Street earlier today for an accident reconstruction related to the hit-and-run death of 5-year-old Kevin Miller.

Miller, of Dallas, was struck and killed on Dec. 21 as he crossed the street with his family.

Police on Friday executed a search warrant on a vehicle that is believed to have struck Miller and fled. Authorities have identified the driver, Tom Letteer Jr. of Plains Township, as a person of interest in the case.
