HANOVER TWP. – Police are investigating three crashes on state Route 309 Saturday night.

The first occurred around 6:26 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the roadway leading to Mountain Top. Daniel Ruffley of Charter Driver, Mountain Top, was involved in a rollover and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, police said.

Around 8:34 p.m. Phyllis Brown of Madison Street, Wilkes-Barre, struck the guide rail in two different locations while traveling north on the roadway, police said.

The third crash occurred around 10:23 p.m. on a northbound section of the roadway. A disabled vehicle owned by Christopher Henrie, Slope Street, Nanticoke, backed into the guiderail near Pine Run Road, police said.
