Wilkes-Barre man killed in Larksville

LARKSVILLE - A bicyclist died from injuries he sustained after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Boston Hill Road and East Main Street Thursday night.

The Luzerne County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 33-year-old Richard Swartz of West Ross Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Swartz was struck by a vehicle at about 8 p.m. He was pronounced dead at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township just before 9 p.m.
