Jeff Allan, cub master, Cub Scout 21, Dickson City, recently earned the Wood Badge, the most premiere and advanced training available to leaders of the Boy Scouts of America. Allan received a certificate, a small neckerchief, a leather slide, and two small wooden beads on a leather thong presented by previous Wood Badge recipients, Nick Rocco and Frank Klassner. The Wood Badge signifies mechanic course work and scout spirit. Leaders must endure long hours of training before being honored with the high rank. At the presentation, from left, are Rocco, Allan and Klassner.
