KINGSTON — Luzerne Intermediate Unit Executive Director Anthony Grieco on Wednesday night acknowledged the efforts of the Looking Forward Conference Committee headed by Assistant Director Gregory Koons.

The college and career conference for students from grades eight through 12 provided information on strategies to successfully utilize student talents to benefit them in the long term.

King’s College hosted this year’s event, and 350 students and parents from throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania participated.

Grieco also informed the board that the LIU received a clean Performance Audit Report from the state Auditor General’s Office.

“This is a tribute to a team effort on behalf of the administration and support staff, reflecting proper adherence to policies and procedures,” he said.

The next meeting of the LIU will be on March 26 at 6:30 pm.
