Kirsten Cavany and Nathaniel Raymond, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Pamela Cavany, Tunkhannock. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Katharine Dymond, Tunkhannock; Catherine Cavany, Lake Winola; and the late Robert Cavany Sr.
The prospective groom is the son of Robin Raymond, Sanford, Maine, and Milton Raymond, Shapleigh, Maine. He is the grandson of Phillip and Elizabeth Dodge Sr., Beverly, Mass., and the late Roger and Anneliese Raymond.
Kirsten is a 2005 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aquaculture and aquarium science and secondary education in biology from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. She is employed at the Tunkhannock Area High School.
Nathaniel is a 2004 graduate of York High School in York, Maine. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and an associate’s degree in criminal justice. He is employed at Northeast Data, Tunkhannock.
The couple will exchange vows July 23, 2011, at the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.
