Together with their families, Jonathan Baker and Ariel Allen, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas Allen, Nanticoke, and Melanie Cox, Wapwallopen. She is the granddaughter of Joseph Margallis and the late Geraldine Margallis, Swoyersville, and Terry and Arlene Paul, Forty Fort.

The prospective groom is the son of Michael and Mary Ruth Baker, Wyoming.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. She earned her associate’s degree with a consideration in dental hygiene from Luzerne County Community College in 2014. She is employed by Frantz Dental, Kingston, as a registered dental hygienist.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Dallas High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from King’s College in 2009. He is employed in marketing at Mountain Productions, Wilkes-Barre.

The couple was engaged on Oct. 4, 2013. They will exchange their vows on June 20, 2015, at St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown, with a reception at the Gramercy Ballroom, Pittston.
