of Chestnut Hill, Pa., died peacefully at Chestnut Hill Hospital on Oct. 27, 2006, of complications of metastatic lung cancer. He was born in Hazleton, Pa., May 12, 1944, to the late James J. Boyle and the late Catherine M. Lynch. A five-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, Boyle pursued a successful career in advertising for the next 35 years of his life. James Boyle is survived by his loving wife, Allison Staib Boyle, whom he married May 13, 1995. He is also survived by his children, Jay, Wichita, Kansas; Kelly Calandra (Tony), Flanders, N.J.; sisters Peggy Dieterle (Joe), Egg Harbor, N.J.; Pat Lynch, Paola, Kansas; brothers Maurice, Chalfont, Pa.; Tony, Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren.

will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Mother of Consolation RC Church, Philadelphia, Pa., where family and friends may call from 9 a.m.
