Holly Ann Sirkin and Eric Bryant Danko were united in marriage on Nov. 4, 2012, in Washington, D.C.

The bride is the daughter of Jack Sirkin and the late Elaine Sirkin, Kingston, Pa. She is the granddaughter of Muriel Sirkin and the late David Sirkin, Kingston, Pa., and the late Clarence and Yvonne Douglas, Jacksonville, Texas.

The groom is the son of Dr. Henry and Halyse Danko, Morton Grove, Ill. He is the grandson of Aaron Kolom and the late Serita Kolom, Los Angeles, Calif., and the late Abe and Edith Danko, Chicago, Ill.

The bride was given away by her father. Nicole Hollander, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Danko, sister of the groom, and Casey Johnson, friend of the bride.

The groom’s brother, Elliot Danko, served as best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Elbaum and David Elbaum, both cousins of the groom.

Following the ceremony, an evening cocktail hour and reception were held at The Grand Hyatt, Washington, D.C. A welcome dinner and rehearsal dinner were held at Carmines and Clyde’s of Gallery Place.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in finance, in addition to achieving certifications from the University of Maryland. She is pursuing her Master of Business Administration degree at Penn State University. She is employed by Seneca One Finance as an assistant vice president.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Niles North High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in global politics from the London School of Economics. He is employed by AIPAC as assistant director of government affairs.

The couple honeymooned in New Zealand and Bora Bora, French Polynesia. They reside in Washington, D.C., with their cat, McLuvin’.
