Holy Redeemer High School recently honored six sisters who are members of the school’s faculty and staff during an Advent prayer service. This year’s recognition included a video presentation featuring the sisters speaking about their faith journey and their experiences in the religious and school communities. They also shared their perspectives with students on their choice to enter a religious community. The video was created by studio and graphic arts students at the school. At the service, from left, first row, are Sister Mary Pio Ferrario, Sister Immacule’ Zdanowicz, Sister Claire Marie Culp, Sister Mary Frances Conrad, Sister Ann Marie Kase and Sister Catherine Ann Morris. Second row: James McDermott, director of religious formation; the Rev. Joseph Elston, school chaplain; Anita Sirak, principal; Bev Glennon, art department faculty; Eric Gdovin, Kingston; Patrick McHale, Kingston; Therese Roughsedge, Pittston; and Andrew Mark, Pittston Township. Andrea Siejna also assisted with the video project.
