Corey L. Wall, 73, of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, Corey was the son of the late Harold and Iva Frantz Wall. He was educated in Dallas Township schools.

Corey was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He worked as a carpenter for a number of years with several different companies. He spent more than 35 years as a truck driver, hauling interstate and locally. Corey retired in 2009.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Geraldine Goodman, Dallas; children, Roy Wall and wife Janine, Jonestown; Karen Wall, Lehighton, and Bradley Wall and wife Amy, Pikes Creek; five grandchildren, Corey R. Wall, Kyle Wall, Collin Wall, Trevor Wall and Stephanie Wall; brothers, Harold and Ralph Wall; sisters, Shirley Gashi and Dorothy Shotwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. Interment will be made in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
