Today’s Schedule: 11 a.m., championship semifinals and consolation quarterfinals; 3 p.m. third- and fifth-place matches; 4:30 p.m. championship finals.

Advance: The top three in each weight advance into next week’s regional at Williamsport High School.

Fastest Falls (championship rounds): A.J. Luton, GAR, pinned Chad Robinson in 19 seconds at 113; Andy Schutz, Wyoming Area, decked Josh Pitcher in 18 seconds at 126; Meyers’ T.J. Cistrunk (160) dropped Trail’s Trent Phillips in 23 seconds.

Semifinal matchups: 106: Patrick Heck, Wyoming Area, vs. Dan Semanek, Meyers; Ronald Mrsich, Western Wayne, vs. Zack Meckes, Hanover Area. 113: A.J. Luton, GAR, vs. Brett Toth, Western Wayne; Brad Glazenski, Hanover Area, vs. John Tomasura, Lake-Lehman. 120: Carm Mauriello, Wyoming Area, vs. Dalton Hogle, Blue Ridge; Zeb MacMillan, Lake-Lehman, vs. Shane Elick, Hanover Area. 126: Andrew Schutz, Wyoming Area, vs. Josh Benscoter, Nanticoke; Troy Maby, Blue Ridge, vs. Kashif Alston, Meyers. 132: Austin Harry, Lake-Lehman, vs. Matt Izen, Hanover Area; Jacob Dickinson, Scranton Prep, vs. Zach Edwards, Blue Ridge. 138: Nick Heck, Wyoming Area, vs. William Lee, Lackawanna Trail; Josh Sayre, Lake-Lehman, vs. Morgan Fuller, Western Wayne. 145: Manny Mirailh, Western Wayne, vs. Blaise Cleveland, Elk Lake; Josh Winters, Lake-Lehman, vs. Victor Rosa, Lackawanna Trail. 152: Beau Fuller, Western Wayne, vs. Maurice Wood, Nanticoke; Johntae Nelson, Meyers, vs. Robert Wright, Lake-Lehman. 160: Lucas Karnick, Western Wayne, vs. Addison Parsons, Blue Ridge; TJ Cistrunk, Meyers, vs. Jamaar Taylor, GAR. 170: Derek Dragon, Lake-Lehman, vs. Thomas Fricke, Lackawanna Trail; Michael Colatosti, Nanticoke, vs. Brandon Hadden, Western Wayne. 182: Brady Butler, Lake-Lehman, vs. Dakota Swoyer, Western Wayne; Will Gaynord, Scranton Prep, vs. Isaiah Ofalt, Elk Lake. 195: Conner Rosensweet, Western Wayne, vs. Kaine Rimmer, Hanover; Phil Hettes, Lake-Lehman, vs. Mike Weircinski, Scranton Prep. 220: Zac Faust, GAR, vs. Thor Balavage, Scranton Prep; Austin Swoyer, Western Wayne, vs. Nick Moore, Montrose. 285: Elijah Gresham, GAR, vs. John Shaffer, Montrose; Dustin Jones, Lake-Lehman, vs. Justin Barber, Lackawanna Trail.

Match of the Day: Derek Dragon, Lake-Lehman, vs. Nick O’Brien, Wyoming Area. A match that could have been a semifinal or championship bout instead was an opening-round thriller. O’Brien hit a four-point move in the second period, and took an advantage into the final period against the No. 1 seed at 170. But Dragon hit a five-point move in the third after choosing down and reversing O’Brien. He later stuck the Warrior with less than one minute left in the match.

Slim Numbers: While there were good numbers in some brackets, others were depleted. Take 106, for example, a weight that didn’t wrestle any matches Friday because there were only four wrestlers in the bracket. Another weight, 120, had one match; one where Blue Ridge’s Hogle picked up a victory. The other three grapplers – Wyoming Area’s Mauriello, Lake-Lehman’s MacMillan and Hanover Area’s Elick all received byes to the semifinals.

Team-Two Race: It appears to be a two-team race for the district title as Western Wayne and Lake-Lehman each have 10 in the semifinal round.
