Alice M. Saporito, 75, formerly of Pittston, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Marie Traver Klein. She was employed at Consolidated Cigar formerly of Kingston, Luzerne Products of Plains Township and prior to her retirement she was employed at Native Textiles, of Dallas. She was active with Helping Hands of the Noxen United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Joseph, and daughter Linda Cole.

Surviving are children Cheryl Bombick and her husband, John, Shavertown; Brenda Ragugini, Kingston; Martin Saporito and his wife, Cathy, Centermoreland; Robin Teeple and her husband, Pat, Carbondale; Robert Edwards, Dallas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Lyons, Noxen; Marge Dellarte, Beaumont; Katie Ayers, Dallas; Sue Feaser, Annville, Pa; brother, Danny Klein, Evans Falls; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Nulton-Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 SR 309, (Beaumont) Monroe Twp., with the Rev. Linda Bryan of the Noxen United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
