(AP) Students applying to colleges this fall could see fewer glitches with their online applications.

An official with the organization Common Application says the group fixed two major technical problems with its universal application. The application is used by more than 500 schools, allowing students to apply to multiple schools at once. It has had numerous problems since a new online system was rolled out Aug. 1.

Some colleges and universities even delayed enrollment deadlines because of the problems.

The official with Common Application says the organization fixed two large technical issues Wednesday night. One created problems with paying for the application and the other made the application difficult to use with a Chrome browser.
