SCRANTON — New York city comedian Andy Pitz will headline the Temple Hesed A Night of Comedy on Saturday, May 2 with his special brand of humor that leaves no subject unturned.
Pitz’s unique New York style brings out the funny in the familiar and mocks the mundane in a Seinfeld-esque style that has audiences in comedy venues across the nation laughing. He enjoys the casual poke and the blistering barb on topics such as technology, social networking, marriage, parenthood and more.
Pitz has landed appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”. He is a regular performer at all of New York City’s top comedy clubs, including Comic Strip Live and the Gotham Comedy Club.
Joining Pitz will be Teri Granahan, a former New York City comedian who now resides in the Poconos.
Tyler Rothrock, formerly from the Lehigh Valley now residing and performing in the New York City comedy circuit, will perform and host the show as Master of Ceremonies.
Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. $50 Patron tickets entitle purchasers to two drinks. Beer, wine and soda are available for purchase. Snacks will be provided.
