Members of the Lake-Lehman High School Class of 2014 were awarded diplomas at the school district’s 56th annual commencement ceremonies held June 6 at Edward H. Edward Stadium.
Following remarks by Junior-Senior High School Principal Douglas Klopp, Victoria Marie DeCesaris and Ashley Rose Rood sang the National Anthem.
Senior Class President Brittany Nicole Faux and Student Council President Alyssa Rae Talacka offered remarks while Lindsay Nicole Williams was honored as class valedictorian and Nicholas Joseph Egan was honored as class salutatorian.
Superintendent James McGovern presented members of the Class of 2014 while Brian Pipech, junior-senior high school assistant principal, called roll of the seniors and Mark Kornoski, president of the board of education, awarded diplomas.
Class officers are Brittany Nicole Faux, president; Anna Michelle James, vice president; Rene Suzanne Rismondo, treasurer; and Alexander Charles Hoyt, secretary.
Student Council officers are Alyssa Rae Talacka, president; Lindsay Nicole Williams, vice president; Jenna Koury Mortenson and Hannah L. Cross, secretaries; and Eliana G. Sicurella, treaurer.
The sunflower is the class flower, class colors are black and gold, “Wake Me Up” by Avici is the class song and the class motto is “We came together as strangers, but we leave as eternal friends” by Gordon Trimer.
