Keystone College’s Diversity Services Program will sponsor a meaningful service project in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Brooks Theatre.

Keystone students will assemble sleeping bags in conjunction with the Hop Bottom, Pa.-based My Brother’s Keeper Quilt Group and its “Sleeping Bag Project.”

My Brother’s Keeper Quilt Group is an organization made up of individuals and groups desiring to help the homeless by making simple sleeping bags from recycled fabrics and distributing them free to the homeless. (www.thesleepingbagproject.org)

Keystone students will use the organization’s supplies to assemble sleeping bags and distribute them free of charge to individuals and organizations throughout the region.
