ALL WEEKEND (Thursday-Sunday)

• Rock Display: A unique display of indigenous rocks and minerals, compliments of local collector R. Stephen Carter, Abington Community Library.

• Art Show: Unique screen prints taken from sketches made by soldiers in Civil War era books over 130 years old are on display. The prints were made by local resident and retired printer Jack Walsh, Abington Community Library.

THURSDAY

Family Fun Faire: All activities begin at 6 p.m. on the 2nd floor of Clarks Summit Borough building, 304 S. State St. Complimentary activities for children include: Face Painting by Happy Faces, Storytelling with Chris Archangelo, and Children’s Crafts with Abington Art Studio from 7-8 p.m. Food and beverages will also be available for sale courtesy of the Abington Lion’s Club beginning at 4 p.m. on the first floor of the building.

Parade: Begins at 7 p.m. and winds through downtown Clarks Summit along West Grove and State streets. The parade will feature live ice carving, juggling, local performers, and more.

Post Parade Performance: Located on the first floor of the Clarks Summit Borough Building and features “Emcee and DJ Jack Martin,” a juggling performance by Rob Smith, and some Rockin’ Tunes with Mike Waskovich, Steve Kurilla, and Michael Dillon.

FRIDAY

Art Show: Photographer Tom Bonomo shows off his Rock n’ Roll photography at Everything Natural from 6-9 p.m.

Art Show: First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit in the Session Room from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Complimentary Trolley Tour: Ride a trolley the way they did way back when and see the beautiful Festival of Ice lit up for the evening from 5-9 p.m. On/off stops along the way will be at Everything Natural, Depot Street, and First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit.

Horse and Carriage Rides: Valentine romance rides in a carriage from 5-9 p.m. leaving from Sole to Soul, 535 S. State St. Cost is $30 per couple or $45 for two couples who would like to ride together.

Downtown Go Around: Featuring live music and art exhibitions throughout downtown Clarks Summit from 6-9 p.m.

SATURDAY

Photo booth: Stop by The Abington Journal office, 211 S. State St. to pose with the ice sculpture and get a complimentary photo printed out on the spot. from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Juggling Performance: Featuring Rob Smith juggling balls, clubs, fire torches, rings, and knives at the Abington Community Library at 11 a.m.

Art Show: First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit in the Session Room from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Horse and Carriage Rides: Outside the Clarks Summit Borough Building fro, noon-5 p.m. Tickets are $3 per person and are available at the ABPA booth inside Clarks Summit Borough Building.

Children’s Reading: Every half hour an adult will read from a popular children’s book to children in the Trinity Lutheran Church library from 1-3 p.m.

Pre-school Crafts: Held for pre-school aged children in the preschool at the Trinity Lutheran Church from 1-3 p.m.

Valentine’s Day Drop In Art Classes: Abington Art Studio from 1-5 p.m. The cost is $5 per person.

SUNDAY

Horse and Carriage Rides: Outside the Clarks Summit Borough Building fro, noon-4 p.m. Tickets are $3 per person and are available at the ABPA booth inside Clarks Summit Borough Building.

Snowman Soup: Children through grade 6 can make a bag of “Snowman Soup Mix” at the Trinity Lutheran Church from 1-3 p.m.
