The inaugural Cinderella’s Closet of NEPA Unique Boutique will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, at Genetti Manor, 1505 North Main Ave., Dickson City.

The Unique Boutique will feature prom gowns, formal dresses, shoes, and accessories sold for $10 and under.

In addition to the Boutique, a Pre-Event Fashion Show will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 7 at The Mall at Steamtown Center Court. Young women will be able to get a sneak peek at some of the beautiful gently-used gowns and formal dresses that will be available for purchase at the Boutique on Thursday.

The Unique Boutique will also feature ESTEEMtown, a series of free self-esteem workshops, that young ladies can attend while waiting to go shopping.

“We are very excited to carry on this important event that impacts so many young women in our area,” said Shannon Roche, Event Chair. “Our goal is to provide a positive shopping experience for young ladies so that they will leave with a gown or dress feeling like they will be the ‘belle of their ball.’”

The new non-profit organization Cinderella’s Closet of NEPA took the reins of the annual spring tradition in 2013. “Cinderella’s Closet” was successfully run by the Junior League of Scranton for 10 years.
