Lee S. Watson, 78, of Loyalville, passed into the light on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.

He was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Forty Fort, a son of the late Ira and Esther Anderson Watson.

Lee owned and operated an auto body shop. He was a former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard 109th Field Artillery, Leader Dogs for the Blind, American Legion Post No. 0945, George M. Dallas Lodge, BMW Motorcycle Owners Association and Metropolitan Owners Club of North America. He served as past president of the Harveys Lake Lions Club and as district governor of Lions International.

Lee had a love for antique cars and trucks. He loved to restore classic trucks with his grandsons and enjoyed driving his 1954 Hudson Metropolitan. He also enjoyed restoring antique gas pumps, collecting antique garage paraphernalia, woodworking, building and metal fabrication. He also loved cats and all animals.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura S. Watson.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura L. Jones and her husband, Charles R., Pikes Creek; Esther Brady and her husband, James, Center Moreland, and Stephanie (Betty) Zuber and her husband, John, Richmond, Va.; grandsons, Lee K. King and his wife, Renee, Hunlock Creek; Lorne R. King and his wife, Rachelle L., Dallas, and Lucas M. King, Pikes Creek; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn King, Samantha Renee King and Jasmyn Danielle King; sister, Betty Smith, Wapwallopen; and his cat, Thomas.

will be held from the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek, with the Rev. Bob Ryder officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Ceasetown Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
