Allied holds Veterans Day Luncheon

Allied Services Integrated Health System recently honored employees who are veterans at their annual Veterans Day Luncheon. Honored guests included Tobyhanna Army Depot Command Sergeant MajorJuan Rocha and Albert Yonick, a veteran of World War II and father of Mary Lou Knabel, Vice President, Home Care Services.

During the full course lunch which opened with a Prayer for Veterans, the students of Allied Services dePaul School for Children with Dyslexia entertained employees from every division who are veterans of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines,as well as some currently serving in the US Army National Guard. The children led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance, and then sang patriotic songs, performed humorous skits, and a demonstrated an official flag folding. The flag was presented to Allied President and CEO Bill Conaboy, Esq., an Army veteran.
