Edith Dente, 81, a resident of Little Flower Manor in Wilkes-Barre, died September 8, 2010.
Born October 11, 1928, in West Pittston she was the daughter of the late Charles and Olga Dente. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of West Pittston. She was employed for many years by Carpenter Pontiac and Sun Buick.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Joseph Dente, sister Clementine (Dente) Salerno, and two brothers-in-law, Anthony Manganiello and Patrick Salerno.
She is survived by her sister Helen (Dente) Manganiello, sister-in-law Mary (Musto) Dente, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Sept. 11 from the Recupero Funeral Home, West Pittston, with the Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment West Pittston Cemetery.
