The Lake-Lehman School District has instituted a dress down day for charitable causes. Each month every district employee is given the option of donating money to various charities. In return, the employee may dress casually on Fridays. In December, contributions went to The Back Mountain Library and also the Schenck Memorial Library in Noxen. Donations also were given to WVIA in support of educational programming. Lastly, a donation was made to Back Mountain Recreation Inc. in the support of youth athletics. District employees shown during a recent dress down day are, from left, Jessica Kaminski, Sheila Race, Kathy Finnerty, and Susie Young.
