WA Kiwanis participate in Highway cleanup

Members of the Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club and their sponsored youth programs spent Saturday morning cleaning Slocum Avenue in Exeter and Wyoming of litter. President Bob Orlando explained the club has taken care of this section of roadway for more than 10 years. As usual Orlando lamented over the fact the people just do not seem to care about their community and thus the litter abandoned along the road has not lessened but seems to be in larger amounts than ever. Still the Kiwanis Club believes as a part of their mission statement that Kiwanis can improve the world one community at a time. Shown above after the work was completed are kneeling: Kiwanians Megan Kuffa, Becky Rogan and Builder Club member Jason Kelly. Standing are Kiwanians Carl Worthington, Andy Kuffa, Key Club member David Dorbad, Kiwanians Mike Coolbaugh, Bobby Orlando and Lisa Kelly.
