Robert P. Gober, was born Dec. 7, 1942, a son of the late Peter and Celia Yablonski Gober of Luzerne. He attended Luzerne High School and Luzerne County Community College. Robert was an industrial mechanic for CertainTeed Fiberglass, Mountain Top, for 40 years; he retired in 2006. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, having served in the Navy. Robert was a 3rd degree Knight and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Luzerne.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Judy Koscinski Gober; sons Robert H. Gober and granddaughter Ashley, of Pittston; Brian Gober and wife, Audrey, and granddaughters Amanda and Samantha, of Wilkes-Barre; Michael Gober and wife, Milissa, grandson Michael Jr., of Larksville; brother Gene Gober, Shavertown; sisters Joyce Garrahan, Shavertown; Judy Blannard, Stroudsburg; brother-in-law Robert Koscinski, of Swoyersville; special caregivers, Michael and Milissa Gober, Amanda Gober, Margaret Nallon, James and Nadine Santewan, Gene Gober and Brian Gober, Robert Koscinski and Ryan Makausky.
Funeral was April 16 from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home,, Luzerne, with a Mass off Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
