Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Deitzer, Tunkhannock, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Heather, to Kyle Tims, son of Robert Tims and Debbie Stein, Jacksonville, Florida.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Rose Deitzer, Lake Winola; the late Thomas Deitzer Sr.; Dorothy Appnel, Avoca; and the late Edward Appnel. The prospective groom is the grandson of Luke and Elaine Gruver, Millerton.
Heather is a 2002 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School. She is a 2007 graduate of Lock Haven University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in recreation management. She is a manager at the Courtyard Marriott, Moosic.
Kyle is a 2004 graduate of Williamson High School in Tioga. He is a 2008 graduate of Lock Haven University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications. He is an eMedia account executive at Nexstar Broadcasting.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on Sept. 12 at Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock. A reception will take place at The East Mountain Inn, Wilkes-Barre, after the ceremony.
