Mrs. Peggy (Sealy) Anderika, 80, Duryea, passed away May 1, 2008, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp., surrounded by her family.
Born in Duryea on July 4, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jane Williams Sealy. She was a graduate of Duryea High School, class of 1945. She was formerly employed as a floor lady in the area garment industry until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea. She was a lifelong resident of Duryea.
She and her husband, John M., celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past December 26.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son Charles Anderika and his wife, Jo Ann, of Duryea; son John Anderika and his wife, Lisa, of Pittston; grandchildren Rachel Anderika, of Wilkes-Barre, and Lauren Anderika, of Pittston.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Piontek Funeral Home, Duryea. Interment, Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brick United Methodist Church.
