The Pennsylvania Northeastern Regional Science Olympiad was held recently at Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus. High schools from northeastern Pennsylvania competed in 23 events covering all areas of science and technology. Wyoming Area High School won a total of eleven medals and placed second in the competition.ý The students will compete in the State finals at Juniata College later in the spring.
