The Scranton office of Compassionate Care Hospice, 960 North Main Street, Scranton, is in need of volunteers in the Lackawanna County area. Specially trained volunteers are an integral part of the Compassionate Care Hospice team. Patient Care Volunteers sit with terminally ill patients, read to them, help families run errands or simply by being there to offer a caring hand. Volunteers are required to undergo training, and will be provided. Contact Bob Perks, Volunteer Coordinator at 1-866-744-9660 or 346-2241.
