Friends of NRA plans annual dinner

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Friends of the NRA will hold its 21st Annual Banquet on March 23 at Genetti Manor in Dickson City.


Last year, at over 1100 events throughout the country, Friends of NRA grossed over 22.3 million dollars, which was distributed in the form of grants for youth firearms safety and education programs, hunter education, range development and improvement; support materials for training classes, women’s safety classes; and wildlife conservation efforts.To view a partial list of merchandise available at this year’s event, go to and click on “Merchandise” at the bottom of the page. At last year’s banquet, over 30 firearmswere won by attendees.


Tickets are $45 each, $85 for couples, $25 for young adults (under 21) and include a three-entree family style dinner, open bar and door prizes. Doors open at 5 p.m. There will be live and silent auctions, bucket drawings and other games and special events.
