BEAR CREEK TWP. — The Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania recently named Bear Creek Community Charter School a 2014 Pennsylvania Waste Watcher.

The waste watchers program recognizes recycling and waste-reduction programs that perform beyond the requirements of the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act (Act 101).

Bear Creak Community Charter School’s program recycles white and colored paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass and plastics, as well as ink cartridges, drink pouches and snack bags.
