Kevin P. Foley, of the Foley Law Firm, has been selected for inclusion in the 23rd Edition of Best Lawyers in America for his practice in both Medical Malpractice Law and Insurance Litigation. This is the second consecutive year he has received this honor.

After graduating from The University of Scranton and earning his J.D. at the Dickinson School of Law in 1988, Foley began his career in law, serving as a law clerk to the Honorable James T. McDermott, Justice, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He has since achieved numerous jury trial awards and settlements in excess of $1 million, including the largest settlement in a trucking collision case in Lackawanna County ($14.75 million).

Foley has served on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and was also elected to the Board’s Executive Committee in 2005. He has been a member of the Judicial Relations, Legislature Network, Education and Membership Committees.

He has also served as a member of the Lackawanna County Civil Rules Committee. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, as well as the Champions of Justice of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

In addition, Foley is an advocate of the National College of Advocacy. Since 2005, he has been named a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” every year by Philadelphia Magazine.
