Douglas S. Coslett, M.D., of Harveys Lake, has been named chief medical officer at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Dr. Coslett grew up in Kingston, graduated summa cum laude from King’s College and earned a medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia.

He completed a residency at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, and practiced obstetrics and gynecology for 23 years in Berwick, Sugarloaf and Luzerne, limiting his practice to gynecology in the last 15 years.
