MOOSIC — Thomas A. Specht, Esq. has been elected a shareholder of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin.

Specht is resident in the firm’s Moosic office and is a member of the Appellate Advocacy and Post-Trial Practice Group, which was recently recognized as the Pennsylvania “Litigation Department of the Year” for Appellate Law by The Legal Intelligencer. He concentrates his practice on dispositive motions, post-trial matters and appeals, and insurance coverage and bad faith claims disputes.

Specht is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Specht graduated from the University of Scranton and Villanova University School of Law. He is a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the Pennsylvania and Lackawanna County Bar Associations, and the Defense Research Institute.

He currently serves as both the editor-in-chief of Marshall Dennehey’s Defense Digest publication, a quarterly newsletter that updates the firm’s clients on important legal cases and issues, and the Third Circuit reporter for DRI’s Certworthy publication, which relates to appellate issues arising in that court.
