The G.A.R. High School class of 1965 came together to celebrate their 50th reunion with classmates coming from all over the United States. This was their last formal reunion and will plan a 70th birthday party in a couple of years. The class started this celebration with an informal gathering on Saturday evening at the Wyoming Valley County Club. On Sunday they met at the Holiday Inn’s East Mountain Resort in Wilkes-Barre. A cocktail hour was held on the outside patio and grounds and dinner followed in the main ballroom. Music and dancing was provided by DJ Jam.
