American Legion holding a planning meeting 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 781 for the Night At the Races fundraiser May 19. Doors open at 6 p.m., post time 7 p.m. This post-wide event, sponsored by the veterans, sons, riders, auxiliary and social members, will help offset the cost of building improvements. Participation is needed to make this profitable. Further details at this meeting. Sign-up sheets and donation of food items will be available, along with horse-selling forms.
