WILKES-BARRE — The 11th annual American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Car Show at Wilkes University will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, in the parking lot behind the Henry Student Center, 84 W. South St., Wilkes-Barre. The show is free for spectators. Rain date is Sunday, April 30, 2017.

To pre-register, contact ASME, visit the Facebook page, or www.tinyurl.com/wilkescarshow. There are no restrictions on make or model. Registration of a vehicle on the day of the event begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for pre-registration and $15 per car, truck or SUV the day of the show.

There will be over 30-awards and giveaways and the first 100- car entries will receive a dash plaque. All entries receive an official car show t-shirt. Awards will be announced at 2:30 p.m.

There will be food vendors and live music, plus Dyno runs with print-outs that are operated on a first-come, first-served basis.
