The Wyoming Valley Woman’s Club presented their annual educational scholarship to Kara Lynn Dooner, daughter of Jim and Donna Dooner, West Pittston. She will graduate from Wyoming Area High School in June and attend Wilkes University in the fall, majoring in accounting, with plans to become a CPA. Club membership is open to all women in the Wyoming Valley. Luncheon meetings are held at noon the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, excluding January.
