HANOVER TWP. — Police have charged a man after he allegedly struck a woman in the face during a domestic dispute.
Police said that at sometime on Sunday, officers arrested Randy Mercadante, 26, of West Newport Street following a the dispute. Mercadante allegedly struck a woman in the face during the dispute and caused a laceration.
Mercadante is charged with simple assault and harassment. He is free on $5,000 unsecured bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Halesey on August 31.
