WILKES-BARRE — A man is facing charges after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house on Wednesday.

Police said that at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday, the victim reported to police that her ex-boyfriend Saturday Crump, 52, broke into her apartment on Hazle Street sometime while she was gone. When she returned, Crump allegedly kicked and struck her, but police said there were no visible marks or signs of injury on the woman.

The victim then alleged Crump left the area after taking items from the residence, but the police report did not specify what was allegedly taken.

Crump is charged with burglary, simple assault, theft, and receiving stolen property.
