WILKES-BARRE — Two men were arrested after flagging down a police officer Saturday in Wilkes-Barre.

According to police, the men, Dustin Hepburn, 23, of Moscow Mills, Mo., and Adam Meyer, 26, of Cottleyville, Mo., flagged down the officer, and asked him to call the police, saying they had been assaulted and could not say where. The pair smelled strongly of alcohol.

When the officer pointed out that he was in fact an officer, they began to yell and curse at him. After another attempt to tell them the officer was an officer, they were arrested and transported to police headquarters.
