Amanda Lynn King and Timothy James Rueter, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The Bride-to-be, Amanda, currently resides in Nanticoke and is the daughter of Matthew King and Emalie Moran King of Wilkes-Barre. She is a granddaughter of Barbara King, of Plains, the late Matthew King, of Plains and the late Dorothy and Richard Moran, of Wilkes-Barre.

Amanda is a 2006 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. She attended Luzerne County Community College and is currently employed at C3i as a quality assurance trainer/analyst for the IT support of a global pharmaceutical company.

The Groom-to-be, Timothy, also resides currently in Nanticoke and is the son of Timothy A. Rueter and Carol Andrews Rueter, of Clarks Summit. He is a grandson of Jean and Robert Rueter of Rockaway, New Jersey and the late John and Jessie Andrews.

Timothy is a 1999 graduate of Bishop Hannan High School. He also attended Penn State University and is currently employed at C3i as an assistant manager of an IT support desk of a global pharmaceutical company.

The couple will exchange vows in the summer of 2017, in a local ceremony.
